The Cooperative Church Ministries of Orangeburg commonly referred to as “CCMO”, is an outreach ministry of member churches in the Orangeburg area.  They cooperate in the operation of a center to which residents of the area, who find themselves in need of assistance of various kinds, may come for help.

The Center began operation on April 18, 1988 in a 5,000 square foot building on Russell Street donated by the Holman Family rent free.

All Goods and Services are free.

Donations are tax exempted.

Location and Hours of Operation

CCMO is NOW located at 2570 St. Matthews Road in the Orangeburg Council on Aging Building.  The Center is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.  Only 15 clients can be seen on a given day and are processed on a first come – first served basis.

CLIENTS MUST WEAR MASKS AND HAVE ID.

Our Financial Base

CCMO’s main financial base is its member churches.  Each church contributes an amount that is determined by the church’s membership.

Donations from individuals, church members or community organizations are gladly accepted.  If individual churches wish to make additional donations above their monthly contributions, they are welcome to do so.
